South Korean President Arrives in Bali

MarvesNusa Dua, November 14, 2022 - President of South Korea Yoon Suk-yeol arrived in Bali, Sunday (13/11/2022) evening, accompanied by the first lady Kim Keon-hee, to attend the G20 Summit.

"Yes, he arrived last night," said Spokesperson for Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Teuku Faizasyah, Monday (14/11/2022).

The Korean presidential plane landed at 23.40 Central Indonesian Time (WITA) at Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. President Yoon was greeted by the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Tito Karnavian.

Together with his wife, President Yoon walked the red carpet accompanied by a pendet dance performance on both sides of the carpet. After being welcomed at the airport, President Yoon was then escorted to the hotel where he is staying in Nusa Dua, Bali.

The moment when the white plane carrying President Yoon arrived was greeted with a banner containing a sentence in Hangeul writing which says "Welcome H.E. Yoon Suk-yeol, the President of the Republic of Korea to Bali for the G20 Bali Summit 2022".
